The Word of God tells us that life is in the blood; however, George Washington and many others who were ill practiced what was known as bloodletting. They believed if one was sick, it was from bad blood. This practice no doubt hastened his death.

The 8th day is when the blood coagulates at a peak due to increased production of vitamin k and prothrombin.
HOW DID MOSES KNOW TO DO THIS ON THE EIGHTH DAY? Was this just another lucky guess that science verified thousands of years later? You might say we could observe the clotting was best on the 8th day, but this is a true scientific statement and as always, the scientific statements in the Bible are correct with no mistakes.
