Probability of guessing one statement's truthfulness is one chance out of two. (2^1).
Genesis 1:1-2 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
Why is this a scientific statement? It is scientific because today all scientists know that there was a day of creation due to the laws of science called the Laws of Thermodynamics. The laws say energy is not being created or destroyed and everything, given enough time, changes from a state of order to a state of disorder. Eventually everything runs down. A car will eventually rust, a house will decay, the energy stored in a log will disperse into space when it is burned and, the energy will go from a state of order to a state of disorder.

Another example: A kettle of hot water is set on a table right after it has reached the boiling point and is left until the next morning. What happens to the temperature of the kettle of water? It becomes the same as the temperature of the room. The heat or energy has dispersed into space into a state of disorder.
Like the temperature of the kettle of water, if the universe had always existed, all of its energy would have dispersed into space, and we would have a uniform temperature in space making life impossible.
The atheist has been known to mock the Bible for saying there was a day of creation. However, science caught up with the Bible and proved their statement wrong.

The earth is turned as clay to the seal. Job 38:14
Thousands of years after this verse was written, many people thought the earth was stationary and the sun revolved around the earth. How did the author know the earth turned as clay to the seal while so many others said it was stationary?
SINCE THIS IS CONSIDERED THE 2ND GUESS AS TO THE TRUTHFULLNESS OF 2 SCIENTIFIC STATEMENTS IN THE BIBLE, THE CHANCE OF BEING CORRECT BOTH TIMES IS ONE CHANCE IN 2^2 POWER OR ONE CHANCE IN 4. OF COURSE, THIS WAS NOT MAN GUESSING; IT WAS THE INSPIRATION OF GOD .

A favorite verse in regard to evidence is Job 38:35 “Canst thou send lightings, that they may go and say to thee Here we are?” Lightning is static electricity and we use it every day to speak on the phone. HOW DID JOB KNOW ABOUT SPEAKING BY ELECTRICITY? No wonder Samuel Morse’s first words by electromagnetic telegraph were,” What has God wrought? “Mr. Morse, the Bible was way ahead of you.

SCIENTIFIC STATEMENT 4
Probability of guessing 4 statements truthfulness is 1 chance out of 16 (2^4).
Since the beginning of history people/astronomers have been trying to count the number of stars. Without a telescope the earliest well-known astronomers could only see a few thousand stars. However, the Bible says that the stars cannot be numbered in Jeremiah 33:22 and the Bible says they are as the grains of sand on the sea in Gen 22;17.
With Hubble the modern-day scientist can see that there are enough stars for every person on earth to have billions of stars named after them. Was this just another lucky guess? Pick a spot in the sky at night where you can’t see a star and then zoom in with a telescope. You will probably see something like the picture to the right unless you are looking to the north.

Probability of guessing 5 statements truthfulness is 1 chance out of 32 (2^5).
FROM THE FOLLOWING VERSES CONCERNING THE JUDGEMENT, WE CAN DETERMINE THAT IT IS DAY AND NIGHT SIMULTANEOUSLY ON THE EARTH.
LUKE 17:31 On that day no one who is on the housetop, with possessions inside, should go down to get them. Likewise, no one in the field should go back for anything.
LUKE 17:34 I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left.
I CORINTHIANS 15: 52 In the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet for the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

The probability of guessing for 6 statements is 1 chance out of 64 (2^6).
Genesis 8:2 "The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained."
Fountains of the deep were discovered in the 20th century but the Bible mentions them in the Old Testament.
How did Moses know about the fountains of the deep?
Did he put on a scuba suit and discover them? Since this is the 6th scientific statement, the number of ways to guess 6 such statements is 2 to the 6th power. 2^6 gives us 64 ways of guessing the truthfulness of 6 statements. Thus, we have one way of being correct out of 64 ways to guess the truthfulness of 6 statements in a row.

SCITENTIFIC STATEMENT 7
The probability of guessing on 7 statements in the Bible is 1 chance out of 128.
Isaiah 40:22 I will spread out my universe like curtains.
Several times the Bible states the universe is expanding. Job 9:8, Psalms 104:2, Isaiah 40:22, Isaiah 42:5, Isaiah 44:24, Isaiah 45:12, Isaiah 48:13, Jeremiah 10:12, Jeremiah 51:15, Zechariah 12:1. These verses were written a long time before scientists caught up with this thought and realized the universe is expanding in the early 1900’s.
If you were to take a slinky and stretch it out, you would see the length of the waves expanding and if you were to push it back together after stretching it, the reverse would be true. That is what the weatherman does with the doppler. He can see whether a cloud is moving away from us or toward us by the wavelength of the signals he bounces off of a cloud.
If you hear a race car coming toward you, the sound has a higher pitch when coming toward you than it does when it is going away from you. The sound is being compressed when it is coming toward you making a shorter wave length and thus a higher pitch sound. On the other hand, when the race car passes you, the sound is at a lower pitch because the wavelength of the sound is being stretched out as it pulls away from you.
A little over a hundred years ago it was fist predicted that the universe was increasing in size. A few years later scientist noticed that the further away the galaxies were, the more they looked red in color. They were able to determine that this was the result of galaxies moving away from us causing us to see a red shift in color of their light and this reminds us of a slinky type of stretching out the wavelength of light toward a shift in color of red. This confirmed what had been previously predicted in the early 1900’s that the universe is indeed spreading out. This is often referred to as the redshift which is what first led scientists to believe the universe is indeed expanding. However, unlike the scientists, we were told in Isaiah thousands of years before Hubble that God will spread out the universe like a curtain.
Since this is the 7th scientific fact, there are 2^7 different ways of guessing the answer to 7 true or false questions. Two to the seventh power is 128; thus, there is one chance out of 128 of being correct on the 7 guesses to each of these scientific facts thus far listed which are found in the Bible if you have a 50% chance of being correct on each guess thousands of years ago. Of course, this does not even count the odds of coming up with the scientific facts.

The probability of guessing on 8 statements from the Bible is 1 chance out of 2^(8) or256.
Job: He stretched out the north over empty space, And hanged the earth upon nothing. (ASV)
You can point a telescope in any diretion except due north and see billion of stars. Did the author of Job have a telescope thousands of years ago?

The probability of guessing on 9 statements from the Bible is 1 chance out of 512.
Job 38:7 "Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth, ... when the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
Stars are vocal and we have instruments that listen to them.
We also have motion pictures where light passes through the film and is converted to sound and we have instruments to listen to the stars.

Job 28•22 "Have you entered the storehouses of the snow
or seen the storehouses of the hail?
Snow is a treasure and captures ammonia as it falls to the ground providing an excellent source of fertilizer for plants.
In addition, it stores water in the mountains for spring and summer irrigation for farms causing it to be referred to as white gold.

The probability of guessing the truthfulness of 11 statements is one chance out of 2,048
Leviticus 11 describes a list of animals that the children of Israel should not eat. While this was not rather obvious for the wandering Jews, this could have caused a major problem with the cooking utensils they had on their journeys. Consider this list of animals and birds that should not be eaten from Chapter 11 and see if you agree. They are as follows: Vulture ( as seen in the picture) eagle, raven, owl, bat, lizard to name a few from this chapter.

Ezekiel 4:14Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! behold, my soul hath not been polluted: for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither came their abominable flesh into my mouth.

Job 26:7- - He hangs the earth upon nothing. (ASV )
How did He know the earth hung upon nothing when other cultures thought it was suspended on a strap from the neck of Atlas, sat on the back of an elephant, a turtle or even a catfish?
Why did only the Bible get it right? Just another lucky guess?

The probability of guessing the truthfulness of 13 statements is one chance out of 8,192.
Psalms 8:8 "The birds of the sky , and the fish of the sea and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. ASV"
The paths of the sea were discovered due to the reading of this verse to Matthew Maury. He was the Father of Science and Oceanography, and he set out to find them after this verse was read to him. He believed if the Bible said there are paths in the sea, then there are paths in the sea. To the right you can see an inscription dedicated by the state of Virginia that refers to that fact.
